Tepthai Concentrated Herbal Toothpaste Review: The Best in Thailand?

By Khem
2 Min Read

If you are looking for a souvenir that actually works or just want the cleanest mouth of your life, you need to look for the blue box in the 7-Eleven hygiene aisle. Tepthai Concentrated Herbal Toothpaste is a cult favorite in Thailand. It’s very different from Western toothpastes, but once you try it, there’s no going back.

Why It’s a Perfect 5/5

I am giving this a 5.0 out of 5. It is, quite simply, the best toothpaste I’ve found in Thailand.

  • Extreme Concentration: The box warns you to use only a tiny amount (3-4 mm). They aren’t joking. A pea-sized amount is actually too much. This tiny tube lasts as long as a giant tube of regular toothpaste.
  • The “Clean” Feeling: It uses high-quality herbs that reduce plaque and stains from tea, coffee, and tobacco. Your teeth feel “squeaky clean” in a way that regular paste can’t match.
  • Fresh Breath: It is incredibly effective at reducing bad breath and taking care of gum health.
  • Added Protection: This version includes Fluoride for cavity protection, combining traditional herbal wisdom with modern dental science.

A Word of Warning

The taste is very “herbal” and quite strong. It has a slightly salty and medicinal kick at first. However, the result—a mouth that feels fresh for hours—is worth the initial surprise.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Amazing Value: One small tube provides approximately 150 uses.
  • Deep Cleaning: Unbeatable at removing stains and plaque.
  • Travel Size: Its compact size makes it perfect for your backpack or carry-on.

Cons:

  • Acquired Taste: The strong herbal flavor isn’t for everyone.
  • Learning Curve: If you use too much, the intensity can be overwhelming!

Final Verdict

The Tepthai Concentrated Herbal Toothpaste is a 5/5. It is a top-tier product that delivers on its promises. It’s effective, economical, and a true Thai staple. Don’t leave Thailand without at least one tube in your bag.
